Curriculum vitae:

I completed a Bachelor in ‘Pedagogical Sciences’ with minors in ‘Education’, and ‘Youth and Crime’ at Utrecht University (The Netherlands) in 2009. I obtained a Master degree in 2010 by completing the master programme ‘Education, Socialization and Youth Policies’ at Utrecht University (The Netherlands). In December 2018, I completed my Doctoral Studies at the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies of the University of Portsmouth (United Kingdom). The thesis title was: Comparing Serious or Persistent Absence from School in England and the Netherlands: An Exploration of the Influence of Vulnerability and Offending Behaviour. (Successfully defended on 18 December 2018).
